How It Works

Some specific automation in Norby is linked to triggers (if you are unfamiliar with what automation is, read the article about them first).

All available triggers:

• Greeting — triggered when a user starts a new chat with the bot NB: You can have only one automation with such trigger per bot
• Team Assigning — triggered when the bot can’t handle a user request and is about to send the whole conversation to a team. NB: You can have only one automation with such trigger per bot

The automations with the Greeting and Team Assigning triggers are created automatically with the default content in it. To find them, go to the automation page, and find an automation with a mark “GREETING” or “TEAM ASSIGNING” near its name.

You can’t remove automatically created automation with the “Greeting” and “Team Assigning” triggers. But you can always deactivate them and any automation if needed by flipping the switcher “Active” next to the “Save” button, and return to the “Active” mode if you need.

You can find inactive automation in the “Disabled” tab.
