Working in the agent dashboard, every user, whether they is a manager or an agent, can set their work status. The work status can be set in one out of three statuses:
When an agent or a manager authorizes themself in the dashboard, their status is automatically set into Online
.
If a user closes the tab with the dashboard, their status automatically will be set to Offline
. If a user has email notifications turned on, in the offline status, he will get emails about new messages and/or chats.
The Away
status allows agents not to close the dashboard but to present themselves as not working. It’s useful when you go out for lunch, for example.
If all agents and managers are with the statuses Away
and/or Offline
, all chats will auto-responded by a default message set for the bot. We call it the autoresponder. Every autoresponse is sent on behalf of the bot.
